Cilia Katrali balances in a surreal universe between reality and dream‑vision, guiding us through her narrative stories into a world that one often notices only “upside down.”
The priestess of the Greek spoken‑word scene, Sissy Doutsiou, transforms the stage with creatures from another world. Her poetry—physical, political, erotic—electrifies every cell in your body. This time she surprises us with phosphorescent carnivorous plants and beings from the depths of the oceans.
The night closes with Lia Hide, one of the most recognizable figures of Greek avant dark pop. A songwriter, pianist, and producer, she blends jazz with avant‑garde, dark wave with baroque pop, with vocals that intertwine with spoken poetry. At AN Club she brings material from her latest album Aristophobia Nervosa (2025), written in Greek, exploring resistance, memory, and the fragility of identity.
Guests of the night: Pyretos 42, where psychedelic song meets synths and drum machines in atmospheric soundscapes; and VoxPopuli, a “hip‑hop artist without hip‑hop music,” spoken‑word MC and founder of the Radical Breaks collective, delivering political speech over breaks and funk.
