SISSY DOUTSIOU will be at Romantso Rooftop for the presentation of her new album titled INSULT OF PUBLIC MODESTY, on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 8:30 PM. Performing with her are MISS TRICHROMI, CAPÉTTE, CILIA KATRALI, and TASOS SAGRIS & WHODOES.

SISSY DOUTSIOU is an artist active in Athens who has since been stirring the waters of the domestic theatrical and international spoken word scene. After much anticipation, her album INSULT OF PUBLIC MODESTY is being released on vinyl by Inner Ear Records, produced by the Institute for Experimental Arts. The news has flooded her audience with enthusiasm. Sissy stands out with the aura she creates in the theatrical performances she stars in and in her live appearances. Her distinctive lyrics, bold and inspired, blend existential experiences, social issues, love and mourning with post punk, industrial noise and experimental electronica soundscapes, making her considered one of the most authentic voices in the Athenian underground scene.

This record comes to seal a creative period marked by interviews, performances and collaborations. The album INSULT OF PUBLIC MODESTY constitutes the most complete spoken word statement with the participation of musicians from Greece, Canada and Russia, including Orphx, Blakaut, Dimitris Koufoudakis (Fer De Lance), Biomass and Van Fog.

MISS TRICHROMI is an established musician of the Athenian scene with a rich discographical work. She has released three personal music albums, "Phíles" (Friends, 2020), "ónoma zóo prágma" (name animal thing, 2017) and "Poú páne ta balónia?" (Where do the balloons go?, 2014), while she also writes music for cinema and performances. The music she wrote in collaboration with The Boy for the film "Winona" received the Best Original Music Award from the Greek Film Academy (2020). She has formed several collaborations, both in recordings and live performances (The Boy, Nalyssa Green, Veslemes, Logout, Tango with Lions, Moa Bones, etc.).

CILIA KATRALI is a talented singer-songwriter with a significant presence in the domestic music scene. With thousands of listeners on digital platforms and three albums "Eléfthero Kámping" (Free Camping, 2020), "Mia Edém me chamiló enoíkio" (An Eden with low rent, 2023) and "Patínia sto Phengári" (Skates on the Moon, 2025), she has created her own characteristic electro synth sound in the pop scene. She regularly collaborates with other artists and actively participates in the city's musical events.

CAPÉTTE is a young singer-songwriter from Thessaloniki who has managed to win over the audience with his songs, recording in detail the chronicle of an unsatisfied love. He has created a series of highly personal albums that reflect the way Generation Z experiences love. He experiments with avant-pop/fusion/weird wave/IDM/queer music with Greek lyrics. He released his first LP "Electra" in 2020 and his second album "Moskau" in 2021. His latest LP "Trauma Dump" was released in 2024 by Vinyl Records.

TASOS SAGRIS & WHODOES offer a detailed recording of a society's collapse, the sound of endless metropolitan pressure. The poetic work of Tasos Sagris (Horror Vacui) constitutes a reflection on neoliberal alienation and social cannibalism, a photograph from the era of crisis. Spoken word meets the trip hop/electronica melodies of Whodoes in a result that moves very deeply, with the parallel use of video art in their excellent live performances. Their record "Phainomenología tis Gkilotínas" (Phenomenology of the Guillotine) is released by the artistic collective record label The Institute for Experimental Arts Records, while they are currently recording their second LP, pieces of which they will present at the concert.
