Sissy Doutsiou performs at Indie Free Festival #35, which this year takes the form of a major solidarity concert supporting the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom, dignity, and self-determination. The event takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Stratou Park in Goudi, Athens, starting at 18:00, with easy access via metro (Katehaki station).
Now in its 35th year, Indie Free Festival remains a landmark for Athens’ underground arts scene. Since 1990, it gathers artists and thousands of friends, offering a space for resistance against social apathy and mass indifference. The festival stands in opposition to a society drifting toward fascism, submission, servility, and cynicism.
Each year, the festival becomes a vibrant celebration of freedom—a public expression of dissent and emancipation. Artists and cultural activists participate voluntarily, receiving the warmest applause not from customers or spectators, but from comrades and friends.
Through this living community, the festival continues to support social struggles, fostering new sensitivities and new ways of living together, feeling for one another, and understanding life itself.
